About me
For more than 25 years, I’ve been a proud performer and female impersonator, dedicating much of my time to the charity drag community as a member — and two-time Empress — of a chapter of the International Court System in Austin, Texas. The International Court System is one of the largest LGBTQ+ charitable organizations in the world, using the art of drag to raise funds and build community. It’s where I learned that creativity, generosity, and self-expression can make a real difference.
While drag has always been my passion, it wasn’t my profession. I worked full-time outside the art world until an unexpected layoff gave me the gift of time — and a new creative direction. During that period, a dear friend introduced me to the relaxing art of rhinestoning. What began as a hobby quickly became an obsession. I found peace, purpose, and a sense of magic in the meticulous placement of each crystal.
One day, I rediscovered an old halo I’d bought for a show and decided to stone it just for fun. The result was breathtaking. When I wore it to a charity event, people couldn’t stop asking where I got it. That moment lit a spark — and Haus of Fairchild Creations was born.
From there, I began embellishing my own costumes, gowns, and accessories, transforming familiar pieces into dazzling new creations. What started as a relaxing pastime has grown into a heartfelt business — a way to share artistry, support my family, and help others shine their brightest. Every project, no matter how big or small, matters deeply to me. Each piece is handcrafted with love, care, and the belief that everyone deserves a little sparkle.
